Key Responsibilities:

- Surface Prep: Perform full paint inspections, decontamination, and prep work prior to installation to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Precision Work: Apply film around complex curves, edges, and recessed areas without lifting or bubbling.
- Cutting & Trimming: Use pre-cut kits or hand-cut film with expert precision and minimal waste.
- Quality Control: Inspect every job for clarity, edge seal, alignment, and cleanliness to meet Modsters standards.
- Material Knowledge: Understand various PPF brands (e.g. XPEL, STEK, 3M) and how they perform across different paint types and conditions.
- Client Trust: Occasionally communicate with clients to explain the value of PPF, maintenance tips, and warranty details.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside detailers and wrap installers to deliver fully protected, fully customized monster rides.
Company Culture:
At Modsters, precision is power. We’re a high-energy shop where creativity meets quality and every detail counts. Our crew thrives on teamwork, innovation, and a drive to raise the bar with every install. If you’re hungry to be part of something bigger than just another shop, you’re in the right place.
Must Haves:
- 2–4+ years of experience installing paint protection film (clear and satin finishes).
- Strong understanding of film stretching, tacking, trimming, and post-heating techniques.
- Familiarity with major PPF brands and software for pre-cut templates.
- Ability to perform full-vehicle PPF installs with minimal supervision.
- Extremely high attention to detail and a perfectionist's mindset.
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and time management.
- A passion for automotive customization and protecting beautiful machines.
Probationary Period:
All new hires will complete a 1-week to 3-month trial period based on:
