Coop & Shop helper
Job Description:

Modsters is offering a killer opportunity for a Coop Student & Shop Helper to dive headfirst into the automotive customization industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Shop Support: Assist with daily shop operations including cleaning, organizing tools, prepping vehicles, and keeping the workflow monster-smooth.
- Learning on the Job: Shadow vinyl wrap installers, detailers, and tint pros to gain hands-on experience in real-time projects.
- Vehicle Prep: Help with washing, de-badging, disassembly (mirrors, trims, lights), and surface cleaning prior to wraps or tints.
- Inventory & Supplies: Monitor and restock materials like vinyl rolls, films, cleaners, and hardware as needed.
- Customer Support: Greet clients, assist with small requests, and help maintain a welcoming shop environment.
- Team Assistance: Be the go-to support for any shop tasks that help the crew stay efficient and focused.
- Safety First: Follow all safety protocols and ensure work areas are clean, clear, and hazard-free.
- Growth Mindset: Take direction, absorb knowledge, ask questions, and always be looking to level up.

Must Haves:
- Enrolled in a relevant Coop/High School/College/Trade program (or similar interest in automotive/customization).
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working with a can-do attitude.
- Passionate about cars, customization, or learning technical trades.
- Willing to take direction, stay focused, and handle physical work.
- Strong attention to detail and a pride in cleanliness and organization.
- Great communication skills and team-first mentality.
- Must be okay with hands-on tasks and shop responsibilities.
Probationary Period:
New Coop Students or Helpers will be evaluated over a 1-week to 2-month trial period based on:
- Work Ethic: Showing up, stepping up, and getting it done.
- Coachability: Willingness to learn, adapt, and improve.
- Team Fit: Respecting the Modsters mindset and collaborating with the crew.
- Reliability: Being on time and dependable with assigned tasks.
- Initiative: Taking ownership of your role and stepping in without being asked.
